Free Subtitle Converter is a set of free tools for converting, syncing and cleaning subtitle files. Every tool runs inside your web browser: your subtitle files are never uploaded to us or to anyone else.
About Free Subtitle Converter
The site is built and run by the Free Subtitle Converter team as an independent project. The goal is simple tools that do one job well, explain what they change, and work for free without an account.
Contact
Operated by Free Subtitle Converter team. Questions, bug reports and suggestions are welcome at support@freesubtitleconverter.com. Please do not send subtitle files that contain private material. Write to the same address about support, copyright or privacy. We usually reply within a few working days.
Privacy Policy
Subtitle files you open or paste are read and converted by this page in your browser. Their contents are not sent to our servers, stored by us or seen by us. Downloads are created on your device.
Your browser remembers your theme and language choice in local storage on your device. The Copy button writes to your clipboard only when you press it.
This site shows ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to show ads and measure their performance, including ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can turn off personalized ads in Google’s Ads Settings at adssettings.google.com and learn more at policies.google.com/technologies/ads. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent through a Google-certified consent message before personalized ads are shown.
Like any website, the pages are delivered by a hosting provider, Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. That data is not combined with your subtitle files, which never reach the server.
Terms of Use
The tools are provided free of charge and as they are, without a guarantee that every file will convert correctly. Check the result before you rely on it, and keep your original file. Use the tools only with subtitles you have the right to use and edit.
Do not use the site to break the law or anyone’s rights, to attack or overload it, or to copy it in a way that misleads visitors about who runs it.
To the extent the law allows, Free Subtitle Converter team is not liable for any loss or damage that results from using the site or the files it creates, including lost work or missed deadlines.
These terms and the privacy policy above are the whole agreement for using the site. When they change, the new version is published on this page with a new date, and using the site after that means you accept it.
Copyright
Subtitles and translations can be protected by copyright. This site does not host, list or share subtitle files; it only changes files that you already have on your device. The articles and design of this site are our own work. For copyright questions about the site itself, contact support@freesubtitleconverter.com.
